CPM Sandhill Crane Photo Shoot Field Trip

The Center for Photography at Madison is offering this guided photo shoot to the

International Crane Foundation and the Aldo Leopold Foundation in Baraboo.

Registrants should arrive at the Crane Foundation (driving directions) about 12:45.

An ICF naturalist will lead a tour from 1pm-2:30pm, ending at the Whooping Crane

Exhibit where there will be a question and answer period and a brief presentaiton

on the shoot location at the Leopold Center.

 

The group will then car caravan the short distance to the Aldo Leopold Foundation

where there will be a guided tour of the Leopold Legacy Center followed by

a walk to the photo shoot site on the Leopold Foundation property on the Wisconsin

River where the up to 5000 Sandhill Cranes return in the evening to their roosting site

on the river during their fall migration.

 

Registration is limited to 25 people The cost is $38 for CPM members and $48 for

non-members.

 

Refund/Cancellation Policy: Refunds of the full amount will be provided up to

30 days prior to the workshop.  For cancellations, 29 to 5 days prior to the

review date, half the fee will be refunded.  For cancellations less than 5 days

before the review date, no refund will be provided, unless a replacement can be
