PhotoMidwest members can pay for darkroom use on a per hour basis. First use the Darkroom Time tab at the top to schedule your time. Cancellations must be done at least 12 hours before your scheduled time starts or you are charged for the time. Payment can be anytime AFTER this 12-hour cancellation time including after using the darkroom.

PhotoMidwest members who have been oriented to the darkroom by a Darkroom Docent can both schedule and pay for darkroom time on this website. You should first schedule the darkroom time(s) you want using the Darkroom Time tab at the top. Darkroom time can be scheduled up to 60 days in advance. Any cancellation must be done at least 12 hours before your darkroom time begins or you are be charged for the time.

Please pay AFTER the 12-hour minimum cancellation time. This avoids the Treasurer spending time making refunds and the costs of those refunds. Payment may be made after you finish in the darkroom by using the Apple computer in the Digital Lab.

Payment should be for all the hours you scheduled to use the darkroom. Thus if you reserve the darkroom for three hours, you should purchase three 1-hour units of Darkroom Hourly Fee. Up to two people can schedule the same darkroom time, so you may be working in the darkroom with another PhotoMidwest member unless you schedule and pay for both of the available places for your darkroom time (total of $10/hr).

You must first get darkroom privileges by successfully completing a PhotoMidwest film class or being oriented by a Darkroom Docent, demonstrating you know darkroom policies and procedures.
